Hebei to cut 86Mt Capacity by end 2020
Hebei province is to cut 86Mt of steel capacity by the close of 2020, equivalent to about one third of current capacity in an effort to tackle air pollution.

Chinese steel grows on better prices
China produced 65.47Mt of crude steel in July, up 6.2% year on year, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said. In the January to July period, the country’s crude steel output totalled 455.8Mt, up 7.1% from the same period last year.
