A 'transformational' decade head for Liberty Steel Group, says Gupta
In an internal memo to Liberty Steel Group management, the company's executive chairman Sanjeev Gupta today announced a long-term €2 billion 'transformational investment plan' with a view to creating a new 'champion' in European steel. Global crude production up 3.4% says worldsteel
Global crude steel production reached 1,869.9 million tonnes (Mt) for the year 2019, up by 3.4% compared to 2018. Crude steel production contracted in all regions in 2019 except in Asia and the Middle East.
