A further two Hybrid+™ CBD90 locomotives for Tata Steel UK
Clayton Equipment, the only British independent locomotive manufacturer in the UK capable of designing and manufacturing locomotives up to 150 tonnes, has agreed a contract to supply a further two Hybrid+™ CBD90 locomotives to Tata Steel, Port Talbot. The steelworks fleet will eventually include a total of seven Hybrid+™ locomotives supplied the company.

State funding for steelmakers' recycling project
Intensive research is currently being conducted into modern and more climate-friendly processes in steel production. In an effort to find a solution that can be implemented in the short term, steel producers thyssenkrupp Steel and Hüttenwerke Krupp Mannesmann are co-operating with TSR Recycling GmbH under the scientific leadership of VDEh-Betriebsforschungsinstitut GmbH.
