Leading steelmaker Salzgitter AG, one of Germany's leading steel and technology groups, has been awarded a top “A” score for its climate action efforts by the renowned global non-profit organization CDP. This positions the Group in the top 2% of more than 22,000 companies evaluated worldwide.

Salzgitter Group delivers pipes to Angola for water supply
Munich-based CNT Bau, a subsidiary of the Casais Group, one of Portugal's largest construction companies, has signed a significant agreement with Salzgitter Mannesmann International GmbH (SMID) and Mannesmann Grossrohr GmbH (MGR) for the delivery of spiral-welded large-diameter pipes and pipe fittings for the Quilonga Grande water supply system in the southwest African country of Angola.
