Future Steel Forum 2018 – Industry 4.0 and steelmaking

MMK's Mill 2000 breaks 2015 production record
Russian steelmaker PJSC Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) broke its January 2015 production record of 526.2Mt when it produced 527.5kt of metal in May 2018 through its Mill 2000 rolling mill.

Gerdau Long Steel North America announces price rises
Gerdau Long Steel America has increased the published price of its wide flange beams, standard beams and structural products by $1.50/cwt ($30 per net ton) and has increased the transactional price on H-Piling by $2.25/cwt ($45 per net ton).
