Special aluminium alloy from thyssenkrupp Schulte used by Siemens for new fan blades
New fan blades made from a special aluminium alloy has been developed by thyssenkrupp Schulte (TKS), part of tk's Materials Services business unit, in collaboration with Siemens.
The Materials Services business unit is the biggest materials distributor and service provider in the western world, claims thyssenkrupp. TKS provides made-to-measure products for over 70,000 customers in industry, construction and the trades.

World crude steel production up 5.8% in July, says worldsteel
World crude steel production for the 64 countries reporting to the World Steel Association (worldsteel) was 151.4Mt in June 2018, a 5.8% increase compared to June 2017.

A good idea is priceless, says MMK

The company, which turns out a broad range of steel products with a predominant share of high-value-added products, is claiming that the total economic impact of the introduction of 'innovative proposals' amounted to RUB 269 million during the first half of 2018.
