The European Commission has approved Liberty Steel’s acquisition for sole control of Hungary-based steelmaker ISD Dunaferr and coke supplier ISD Kokszoló.

Blastr Green Steel and Inkoo Shipping agree to harbour development
Blastr Green Steel and Inkoo Shipping have signed a letter of intent for land and harbour development in Inkoo, Finland. According to the letter, Blastr will utilize Inkoo Shipping's land area to ‘further optimize the layout design’ of the planned ultra-low CO₂ steel plant in Inkoo.
