Bushman AvonTec USA, manufacturer and supplier of custom material handling equipment, has made staff changes and improved its operational efficiencies. It plans to take advantage of expected sales growth in its slit coil packaging business.
It has appointed a new team at its Canadian office. New marketing material includes literature featuring packaging hardware, conveyors, banding equipment, positioning equipment and integration control systems that focus on packaging process.
The company is also relocating the line’s manufacturing from Waterdown, Ontario to Hamilton, Ontario. This expansion will provide space and equipment for increased efficiency in production and pre-shipment assembly and testing.
Bushman is installing an improved version of its automated spacer placer in northern Ohio. The equipment automatically places dunnage between slit coils during the banding process.
