Sandvik’s Håkan Sundström will be discussing a new buy-back programme for recycling high-alloy steel, Accenture’s Lasse Kari tackles the subject of decarbonizing the European steel industry and how the industry can balance value and CO2 reduction and then Primetals Technologies’ Thomas Steinparzner who will argue that environmental protection has become a decisive factor for steel producers over recent years. He believes that the transformation of the iron and steel industry towards decarbonisation has already started. Last but not least, Pravin C Mathur of Linde Gas offers his thoughts on how the global steelmaking industry can decarbonize its operations.
