Stripco is to expand its site in Mishawaka, Indiana, USA.
The flat rolled steel processor and cold rolled strip producer will add three new annealing bases and a building large enough to more than double existing annealing capacity.
Rad-Con will provide the 100% hydrogen batch-annealing equipment.
Stripco will also continue its use of hydrogen-recycling technology in the expanded facility.
Each new annealing base accommodates 100t with a stack height of 205 inches. Coils can be up to 0.375inches thick, 72 inches wide, and weigh 50000 lbs.
