Mill Steel, a Michigan, USA based steel distributor, is marking its 50th year of business with an expanding customer base across North America.
The company was started by Harry H Samrick in 1959 in his basement during the longest steelworkers’ strike. Today, Mill Steel is one of the largest flat-rolled steel distributors in the Midwest, with locations in the USA and Canada, and over $250M in annual sales.
The company’s success is due to its long-term status of supplying quality steel to automakers across North America, as well as customers in the appliance, agricultural equipment, home construction and office furniture industries.
