Siemens VAI Metals Technologies will supply the Weiyuan Iron & Steel Company, Ltd with a new wire rod mill to expand annual production by 650kt/y.
The new mill for the carbon steel manufacturer will be located in Lianjie Industrial Park in Weiyuan, Sichuan.
Built in collaboration with CISDI Engineering Co, Ltd., the project is expected to start up in spring 2013.
