Nucor partners with nuclear power company for clean energy supply
Nucor and US-based NuScale Power Corporation have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to explore utilizing NuScale’s VOYGR small modular nuclear reactor (SMR) power plants as a power source in Nucor’s scrap-based Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) steel mills.
