The board of directors of Nucor Corporation USA) declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.3675 per share on Nucor's common stock.
This cash dividend is payable on May 10, 2013, to stockholders of record on March 28, 2013, and is Nucor's 160th consecutive quarterly cash dividend.
Financial results for 2012 showed consolidated net earnings of $504.6M or $1.58 per diluted share, down 35% on 2011 when consolidated net earnings reached $778.2M, or $2.45 per diluted share.
In the final quarter 2012 the Company reported consolidated net earnings of $136.9M, or $0.43 per diluted share, up 24% on Q3 which reported net earnings of $110.3M, or $0.35 per diluted share and similar to the Q$ 2011 net earnings of $137.1M, or $0.43 per diluted share.
