Hypertherm, a plasma arc metal cutting technology company, has unveiled a CNC compatible with almost any mechanised system.
The Edge Pro is easy to install, use and is reliable. It does not require any intermediary device to run and supports both oxyfuel and conventional plasma cutting systems.
Hardware and software advancements include analogue and Sercos motion control connectivity, a touch screen display and an integrated operator’s console. The Edge Pro also comes pre-installed with Hypertherm’s Phoenix software, which includes the patent pending CutPro Wizard to simplify the learning and operation of the cutting system.
Edge Pro was subjected to testing to ensure it survives harsh cutting environments.
