Lodhia Industries has signed a contract with Danieli Centro Combustion India for the supply of a new 50-tph, pusher-type reheating furnace for its mill complex in Tanzania.

The furnace will feature new-generation burners and an efficient combustion system to ensure optimal heating practices, higher thermal efficiency, and minimised pollutant emissions.

It will also serve the bar and wire rod mill previously ordered by Lodhia Industries from Danieli.

The project is part of a major strategic investment that reinforces Lodhia Industries’ commitment to expanding steel production capacity in East Africa.

The design also reflects the company’s commitment to energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact.

Commissioning of the new reheating furnace is set for the first half of 2027.
