Jindal to expand capacity by 3.5Mt

Turnover was up 39% to Rs182.086bn ($3.3bn).
Consolidated EBIDTA increased by 10% to Rs 71.292bn ($1.29bn).

In Fy 11/12 the company produced 2.75688Mt of finished steel, up 21%, 1.667Mt pig iron and hot metal and 3.7369Mt of ore pellets.
The Company has announced plans to expand its steelmaking capacity at Raigarh, Chattisgarh by 3.5Mt taking total capacity to 6.5Mt/y.
