German steel company SHS Group has once again received top marks for commitment to climate-friendly supply chains.
The company, which includes Dillinger and Saarstahl, has received the highest score from the international climate protection organisation CDP in the area of 'supplier commitment' – and now finds itself on the prestigious A-List in 2025 too.
SHS was already up among the 'CDP Supplier Commitment Leaders' in 2024. This new award confirms its ongoing commitment to climate protection throughout the supply chain.
CDP has acknowledged the strategic integration of suppliers in climate protection measures and the transparency and effectiveness of the associated activities. Internationally, the score is seen as a pivotal standard for sustainable supply chain management and corporate climate protection.
This renewed top-level rating reflects SHS' comprehensive sustainability approach. The company has a tradition of assuming responsibility for today's and tomorrow's generations of employees and stakeholders and, with the transformation project 'Power4Steel', is currently championing one of Europe's largest decarbonisation projects.
This latest award follows other top-level ratings from CDP. For its commitment in the area of climate protection strategy and goals ('CDP Climate Change'), the SHS Group has already been 'rewarded' with a place on the A-List on more than one consecutive occasion.
