Steel group Eurofer has published its second European Steel in Figures pamphlet.
The second edition of the booklet comes at a time when the European economy is showing the first signs of recovery from recession.
However, the coming year is surrounded by uncertainties, with risks from rising steel imports prices and the huge increase in iron ore prices.
The booklet examines crude steel production, finsihed steel production, real versus apparent consumption and scrap, among others.
