China’s large and medium steel-making companies saw earnings rise for four months in a row in late 2010, after a profit squeeze during the May-July period.

According to CISA, the 75 steel producers had combined profits of RMB 7,877 million in November 2010, up 13.20% over the previous month.

There were 10 companies running in red in November with their monthly losses coming to RMB494M, compared with 12 in October with RMB570M deficits.
