Chinese major stainless steel producers rolled out over 8.8Mt of stainless crude steel last year, up 26.80% over 2008, according to Stainless Steel Council (CSSC) of China Special Steel Enterprises Association.
In 2008 production had shrunk by 3.6% from the previous year.
