China’s steel products output in November reached 70.10Mt, up 7.8% year on year, according to the data released by the country’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Dec 6.

Steel products output in the January-November period went up 13.1% from a year earlier to stand at 810.14Mt, the NBS data showed.

While the daily output of crude steel of member steelmakers of the CISA, namely 77 large and medium-sized steel mills, reached 1.5026Mtt in the last 10-days of November, increasing 1. 25% from mid-November, overall China’s daily average output of crude steel in November declined to below 1.70Mt, the lowest amount this year and the daily output also saw a month-on-month decline for the fifth consecutive month.
