China’s iron ore inventories at 25 major Chinese sea ports stood at 96.62Mt on June 4, down 620kt or 0.64% from one week earlier, according to the Xinhua-China Iron Ore Price Index.
The index, compiled through surveys across 25 selected major sea ports, shows that the price index for iron ore imports of 63.5% Fe grade stood at 137 by June 4, up 1 point from the previous week, while that for iron ore imports of 58% Fe grade went up 1 point to 116.
