Adhunik Metaliks (AML), a manufacturer of special steels has commissioned a 1.2Mt/y pellet plant in Jamshedpur NE India for merchant sales in the eastern region.
The unit will be built under the Orissa Manganese and Minerals, a 100% subsidiary of AML. It will primarily cater to the captive needs of sponge iron units and integrated steelmakers using the blast furnace route in Orissa, West Bengal and Jharkhand.
