D P Singh, a Tata Steel employee, has fallen into a bucket full of red hot molten iron and died.
According to news reports, it is feared that no body will be recovered as it is likely to have been reduced to ashes.
The incident took place during the night shift, according to Senior Superintendent of Police Amol V Homkar.
