Steno Marcegaglia, founder and chairman of the Italy-based group Marcegaglia, died aged 83 on September 10, 2013.
Born in 1930, at the age of 29 he started the steel processing company in Gazoldo degli Ippoliti (near Mantua - Northern Italy), which is still owned by the Marcegaglia family and has grown to become one of the largest manufacturers worldwide with over 5Mt processed yearly.
