The World Steel Association is launching a number of short films showcasing variety and scope of careers in steel industry
The short films, running just 2-3 minutes, produced by worldsteel and its members, bring to life the world’s contemporary steel industry, which offers exciting and varied career opportunities to more than two million people across the world.

The campaign, under the name #lovesteel is the third phase of worldsteel’s digital campaign to inspire young people to think differently about a career in the steel industry. The films follow a Twitter debate between steel industry leaders and a Facebook photo competition to celebrate ‘Steel in Your Life’ earlier this year.

Each film clip consists of someone employed in the industry saying why he or she joined a steel company and what their role is within the works.

worldsteel will launch the film campaign on YouTube, on its Facebook page, Twitter feed, Weibo page, Tudou page and website.

The first films are the beginning of a series of short videos - worldsteel members will be invited to add to the collection with their own films to continue the campaign. Multi languages will be used.
