SMS group's Harald Rackel is moving from head of digitalisation at SMS group GmbH to join the managing board of elexis AG, an SMS group subsidiary. Mr Rackel will leave his current post on 31 March and start his new role on 1 April.
Rackel takes over from Siegfried Koepp who retires on 30 June.

Doctor of Engineering specialising in production technology is leaving Jacobs University Bremen. She has been president of the university for several years during which time she successfully implemented
digitalisation and logistics projects for customers in the steel industry.
