JSW Steel, in Karnataka state, SW India, has reported a 15% growth in annual crude steel production, producing 8.51Mt in FY 2012/13 as opposed to 7.4Mt in FY 2011/12.

Its output for flat rolled products was up by 17% to 6.8Mt, and its long products output increased by 18% to 1.8Mt.

The company’s main facility has a potential annual capacity of 10Mt/y.
