IMIDRO, Iran’s mines and mining industries development and renovation organisation, claims that Iran produced 1.4Mt of crude steel in June 2015, up 1.5% compared with June 2014 and equaling the production of France.
H1 2015 crude steel production in Iran stood at 8.37Mt, an increase of 4.5% over the same period last year when the country produced 8.01Mt.
The latest figures from worldsteel show that France’s crude steel production in June was 1.4Mt million tons, a decrease of 1.3% compared to June 2014.
