JSW Steel is hoping to be the first company to set up a mega greenfield steel plant in Jharkhand, India.
Ground level work of the steel plant is expected to start in 2013/14, as the company has acquired around 1500 acres of land at Sonahatu in the Ranchi district of the state. The plant is expected to have an annual production capacity of 10Mt.
