Turkish steelmaker CEMTAS CELIK has signed a contract with Danieli Olivotto Ferré for the supply of a new heat treatment line at the company’s Bursa facility in North Western Anatolia.
Danieli will be responsible for supply, supervision to erection, commissioning and start-up of the new line.
The new equipment will enable CEMTAS CELIK to enter the hardening, tempering and normalising market with superior quality annealed bars.
CEMTAS CELIK is claimed to be Turkey’s second-largest producer of alloyed steel bars. The company exports 70% of its products to the European automotive industry.
Plant start-up is scheduled for December 2016.
